Flashpoint impact Arrow like that. Particularly since there's a wedding in the Arrow finale and most people speculate it'll be Oliver and Felicity. Even if they're wrong and it's Ollie and Nyssa, they would have to have a DEATH WISH to deny Oliciters a wedding for their ship and then marry her to Barry, even in the short term. Olicity. Fans. Would. Murder. Them.

She's wearing an engagement ring and not a wedding one. Let's not forget that Danielle said the wedding would come with complications of its own. I also really like snowstorm so I'm excited for their scenes!

I can't help but compare them. I read some comment about Barry can't marry Caitlin because it will be like Superman marry Lex Luthor. The same thing happen here. Killer Frost is Firestorm's nemesis. If Firestorm loved Killer Frost, she wouldn't become one of DC greatest supervillain. She will be cured because the answer for her "heat-vampire-sick" is the firestorm matrix. But Firestorm killed Killer Frost. Their destiny is far-away from romance.

And honestly I think they treat Caitlin Snow character so unfair. She has nice image both in the comic and the tv series. But no matter how nice she is, she don't deserve Barry only because her future destiny as Killer Frost.

And no matter how bitchy Iris West in the comic and tv series, she will become the hero's wife.

And they will cut all of Barry-Caitlin scene to make sure people love this comic canon because it was Caitlin Snow destiny to be killed by Firestorm? It's ridiculous I'm so mad about this...

Danielle gave it away when she said at the of this season it will leave us screaming at ours TV's leaving us on a huge cliffhanger. Andrew K said we will be surprise at which girl Barry ends up with at the end of the season, who do you think that would be? Oliver is like the Bruce Wayne of the show Bruce Wayne is dead in Flashpoint and Barry is married to someone else. Felicity being married to Barry would makes sense if Oliver was dead and Iris married Eddie because I'm thinking it's going to reveal Eddie is The Flash in Flashpoint. Isn't it odd that Eddie would get a transfer to Central City right when the lighting bolt struck I'm thinking that was Eobard plan have Eddie be struck by the lighting bolt after Eobard killed Barry 15 years ago leaving the lighting bolt no choice but to chose Eddie because Barry was dead. That way the Eobard's family gets the power, glory and all that that the Allen's family would get instead of Barry and his family being the heroes everyone looks up to it's Eobard's starting with Eddie. Also the writers said there planning on taking a huge storyline in the Flash comics and putting it in the show Flashpoint was created by Geoff Johns that storyline is what brought back Barry Allen in the comics. In other words yes fans will riot it will be like how Back to the Future 2 ending with Doc sent to the old west while Marty was stuck in 1955 leaving everyone on a cliffhanger that no one saw coming when the movie first came out.

Frankly? I think he'll end up with none of them and that's the "surprise" (even though it really isn't). But...I mean...I've just been talking about shipper baiting and I think this is more of it, directed at all the shippers on the show. "Keep watching; you'll be surprised who he ends up with!" So every time Snowbarry shares a moment or Westallen has a spark or Felicity and Barry get a private scene, in the back of their minds, each group hopes it will be them when the answer is he ends up alone.

It's not impossible that your spec is right. But I highly doubt it. Having Felicity and Barry together would diminish some of the weight of what I'm sure will be tragic Felicity in the Arrow finale if the wedding is between Nyssa and Oliver (which I think it will be and if it isn't, you'd have her secretly marrying Ollie and surprise marrying Barry and that just a bit much). Plus, with the Arrow finale...nobody would care that much. Olicity fans would be too up in arms about their finale to be placated with a fake marriage that won't last and...I guess I can't speak for everyone, but I don't think the impact for Westallen/Snowbarry shippers would be THAT great either, given it wouldn't last.

If they're going to have him married to someone other than Iris, I would expect it to be Caitlin, tbh. Not because I'm a Snowbarry shipper - which I'm not. But, honestly, the number of Barricity fans is far, FAR exceeded by Westallen and Snowbarry fans (understandably). So IF they did something with a Flashpoint marriage, I think they'd want to do Snowbarry over Barricity because, again, it would be a HUGE thing they could give a shipper base at absolutely no cost to having to derail their future Snowstorm or Westallen or whatever other plans if they don't want them to. An AU marriage isn't a promise of a wedding at the end of the show, it's AU so Snowstorm and Westallen could still be where the show is headed in the immediate future because AU's are freebies that don't have to "count" and...come on, you guys would be giffing the HECK out of that. Of course you would! And it would keep every ship hoping their ship could be endgame (AU SB wedding and an Iris West-Allen byline would play both sides of the fence pretty well) while making no promises so they can do whatever they want, which is a TOTAL win/win.

I would be ASTONISHED if they didn't have any AU marriage be with Snowbarry, under the circumstances. But I'm not expecting that either because it would be strange to go through all the trouble for an SS wedding only to then be like, "Surprise! AU SB marriage!"

Flashpoint because when Barry saves his Mom he changes the timeline causing him not to become The Flash which means Eobard doesn't become Reverse Flash without Eobard/Barry Caitlin didn't join Team Flash because there is no Team Flash. Leaving her to go to the artic where she becomes Killer Frost remember what Eobard told Team Flash he said you should be thanking me I made your futures better he knows she would have became Killer Frost if he didn't recruit her to Star Labs keeping her from becoming Killer Frost because he needed her to take care of Barry making sure Barry stays alive because without Barry he can't get home. Now when Barry saves his Mom there goes Barry becoming The Flash, there goes Eobard traveling back threw time, there goes him killing Wells taking his place in creating Star Labs with him meeting Caitlin/Cisco. Recruiting them to his mission creating the device that cause the Meta-Humans, putting Barry in a coma, having Caitlin/Cisco taking care of Barry until he wakes up where he becomes The Flash and creating Team Flash. It's because of Barry and Eobard of where Caitlin is right now Barry saves his Mom changes that.

Danielle did say Caitlin got to deal with Reverse Flash coming back with a vengeance in the finale having Eobard tell/show Ronnie about the kiss after Ronnie/Caitlin gets married would be a great way to get revenge.

Barry and Caitlin married in Flashpoint because they could have met another way. Throw in a line they met at school. Just saying, if a fanfic writer could do it, the writers certainly could, particularly since they could so easily gloss over how they would have met in the AU without STAR Labs. And since I doubt they'd want Flashpoint to last just one episode, I think they'd probably want a deeper connection so they could get more angst out of Barry realizing she's Killer Frost. She's a villain AND his wife?!?

Again, I'm not saying they will be married in Flashpoint. I'm just saying if they want Barry to be married to anyone, I would expect Caitlin way before I'd expect Felicity. Particularly if they wanted Flashpoint to carry over several episodes.

And I don't think the kiss would be a big enough deal for blackmail. If it were, I think they'd have showed Caitlin feeling REALLY guilty about it and maybe a conversation with Cisco in 20 where she talked about feeling like she'd cheated on Ronnie. To set up a sense of guilt big enough to justify blackmail. And...frankly...would Ronnie be THRILLED his fiancée kissed another man? Probably not. But if they can get over death, quasi-amnesia, body swapping, explosive powers, and long absence, it would be pretty darn insane if it was a KISS that was waaaaay too much for their relationship to handle.

I just think, if RF tried to blackmail her with that, she'd be like, "Okay. Hold on just a sec." *calls Ronnie* "Ronnie, there's something we need to talk about. A few weeks ago, I kissed Barry. Well, I THOUGHT I did, anyway. It was actually someone else. Anyway, I know we've been in a really strange place lately and I feel bad about it. I really am sorry to spring this on you. Can we talk next time you get a chance to make it to Central City? Okay, great... Now, Eobard...you were saying about that whole blackmail thing?" Like...why wouldn't that be her response, all things considered?
