Illness is a bit typical too, but I'd get even more than being killed. For sure she died when Iris was very very young or maybe when she gave birth to her.

Maybe they believe her dead, but she actually faked her death. But why won't they even talk about her.

That's possible too I guess they'd not talk about that because it hurts, but one never knows.

I think they don't discuss her because it happened early on. Before Barry's mom died even...

Yeah I think it happened when Iris was really young. They will probably get to it eventually.

Yass, I'm looking forward to that. I hope in her honour there'll be plenty of discussion about Iris and WestAllen.

I kinda doubt we're gonna see much of Iris next ep, so at least Candice being her adorkable self will make up for it a little, haha.

That is *the* question, isn't it? The fact that we're 12 episodes into the season and have yet to hear Joe/Iris talk about Iris' mother pretty much says it all. And that's all I have to say about that. lol
