Yeah I don't want to see any pairing up between the returning characters. I've learned not to put anything past these writers though. They like to do things just for shock value, even if it doesn't make sense for the characters involved. I definitely think Gold and the EQ pairing up romantically was one of those things.

i just wonder how they explain the absense of belle and if that means that the three remaining characters definitely work together and all become friends , because lets face it, regina nad rumple and hook - those three are not friends lol

I don't know if they will be friends or not, but I do expect they'll have to figure out a way to work together to deal with whatever situation they find themselves in. Regina has at least a somewhat civil relationship with both of them. Hook and Gold are the two I'd worry about trying to kill one another. Although with the time jump, who knows what has happened in the passing years. Maybe they are all besties now.

Henry is usually the one person everyone is willing to work together for, although Rumple is not always willing to put aside his own best interests, even if it's for Henry. We'll see.

Depends on how selfish Rumple is to if he will work with others to help Henry
But Henry is still the best way to get Regina and Rumple to work together __________________
