We have a family gathering planned... but I've got a sore throat now and will go a doctor tomorrow to make sure it's nothing serious. It might be because everyone has been sick with streptococci. I thought I dodged that, but maybe it took longer to break out.
So maybe I'll have an evening by myself unvoluntarily

What's bothersome is, streptos are contagious before you notice symptoms so I might have given them yesterday to the ones who haven't gotten sick from the Christmas family gathering.

We will see...

But I have spent NYE by myself before, I think.

And I guess dinner will be brought to me if I can't eat with all of them.
But I was looking forward to it, so , yeah.

I'm so ready for 2022 to be over!

I ended it with having to dish out ANOTHER 1700 USD on my car on Wednesday. This is probably going to be the last big/major repair on it. This month has just been cruddy from start to finish!

Ohh Candace that is horrible.

I’ll also say good riddance to 2022. I’ve had worse but the loss of Dom is still there and strong especially as we’ve always had him for Christmas so I’m ready for this new year and month.

I feel better, but now my mom has the strep. So, I will probably, too, soon. We'll wait and see. Hopefully she didn't pass it on again to the ones who are healthy again

We'll stay away from each other for a while so it doesn't spread again, or if it already did, the neverending circle ends there!

I hope 2023 is better for you, Candace and Sandy, and a good one for you, Fiona

Yep, that'd be it. I always say its the worst. I had my tonsils out to avoid it and I caught it for the first time in over ten years back in July .
