I’m proud of myself for saving money this month! I get paid tomorrow and I still have over £100 left (which NEVER happens) so I’m putting it straight into my savings account, I put £70 in my savings just after pay day so that’s £170 saved this month!

^That is awesome, Fiona ..my money saved ended up being spent. My mom missed a bill so I gave her the money lol. But I do still have like $10 cash I'm slowly learning. I put my credit card up to stop touching it.

^Nothing wrong with that. I’ve got the new sneakers and I wasn’t going to do it but I never get myself anything. Tomorrow I’ve gotta get some black scrub pants for the new job but I’ll get two or three pairs to start with and than next week I’ll grab more. I forgot I loaned my dad money and he gave it back so I now actually have $35 put aside . That’s one way to do it as well. I also save cans and bottles to recycle for the deposit back and Amayas got a full change jar so I guess you can say between Amaya and I we have even more saved .

I started using my debit card for purchases. I do use my credit card but very sparingly! I rarely carry cash, since I don't have a bank close to me, so by using the debit card which directly comes out of the checking out it's like I used cash. For me, it keeps me from making so many frivolous purchases.

^I pay my mom cash so when I go to pay rent lately I take off the extra $10 to put aside. I hid my credit card (hoping that works lol). But good to know about using the debit feature. I'll utulize that a lot more now too, I bet I was hitting credit a lot without realizing it.

I don't use my debit as a true debit card as I don't enter my pin number unless I have to. That was the advice given by a bank teller. So, it's rung as "credit" but still gets taken immediately from your checking account.

^Ohhh so when I have the option stick with the credit on my debt card and it takes it right away? I've got a pending transaction from this morning and I'm guessing that's why. That'll be good to know because that's where I always screw up at

Hope everyone’s having a good weekend! I’m organising my kitchen and moving things around cupboards. It’s strangely satisfying

^We're doing the same . The fire marshalls are coming Wednesday so we're trying to make the house extra clean and make sure there's nothing in front of the windows etc..the funniest thing is, my customer last night and I talked about how sometimes all it takes is a cleaned up room to satisfy us. He's got some degrees and said that, that is on a mental level and that we're satisfying our minds. So odd, I got Amaya a new bookshelf and a new air freshener so I slept so comfortably yesterday .
