What is advent coffee? I've never heard of that but it sounds like fun and so awesome that you will have time off until Jan. 4th! I have to work in between Christmas and NYE.  __________________

The cake really turned out great, I loved it
 We were invited for some coffee and cake on the 4th Advent so we kind of call it Advent coffee here It's some kind of slang that I just translated into some English  Jaaaadddeee!!! We miss you like hell as well! How are you doing? So great to hear that your nephew will experience his first Christmas this year So yesterday we were invited to a post-wedding celebration of a colleague of ours and damn it, it was so much fun! We had a BBQ. But I didn't catch a lot of sleep... I went to bed at about 1.30AM this morning and had to get up at about 6.45AM to go to work. And here I am now, very productive  Mel, welcome  My weekend really was great. What about yours?__________________

 But I'm super happy to have you back! You were missed here!Miranda, yes, having a BBQ in winter is something different but not uncommon in Germany We simply love to have BBQs I somehow have the feeling that I'm getting sick as well... Hopefully I'll manage to keep it at bay but my throat doesn't feel too well since yesterday. We'll see I guess.Tomorrow is Holy Night!!!  __________________

Donna! I am so glad you are back! I missed you! Glad to hear that you are doing better after you've been sick.
Oh no Kris! I hope you won't get sick now that we are so close to Christmas. Today was my last day of work! I will be off until Monday and than I only have to work Monday and Tuesday and I have the rest of the week off again. I can't believe it's going to be Christmas Eve tomorrow! I don't have that Christmas feeling just yet. I might also be because the weather is still so good and not winter-ish at all. __________________

I was I had a severe cold in my chest. My doctor gave me antibotics and other than coughing I am okay.

It's not gotten worse but I don't feel well at all... We'll see what it turns out to be in the end.Miranda, that's great news that you only have to work two days next week and that you'll have the rest of the week off as well! I have some time off until the 4th of January now I love it. So glad that I finally get a few days to simply relax and do whatever I feel I want to do. So Donna, it's really mild at yours as well, huh? Same here... It's so crazy, we never had such a warm November and December in Germany ever before  And since the Netherlands is right next to Germany, it's the same there.  So, everyone... A very merry Christmas to all of you!  Have a great time with your family and beloved ones, enjoy the silence and try to relax some __________________

Okay, that's really crazy... It's really mild here but we still need the heating  Today it's almost the same routine like yesterday for me... Lunch will be at my mom's house, dinner at Sascha's grandparents I really love that about Christmas.Besides, I'm still not feeling good again... I'm really wondering what exactly it is.  __________________
