But she does blame him for Tom's death, right? Because of that secret he tried to hide so badly... I'm wondering if she ever realized that Red warned Tom more than once to let it go and that Kaplan never intended for him to investigate the suitcase on his own. It never did come out, right? She doesn't know.

Yeah you're right she does blame him for that. But like you said, Red has warned multiple times and Kaplan was the one who left the suitcase with Tom so it is her fault. But I don't know if Liz knows that Kaplan sent Tom the suitcase.

I as well doubt that she knows about Kaplan's involvement in the suitcase... She just knew that Tom died because of it. I'm wondering why she never asked how he got it

I don't think she did. She couldn't get in touch with Tom and she started with nvestigating. Even asked Red for help. But I don't think she ever knew what he did.
