This was by far one of the best episodes of the show so far. All the progress Red and Lizzie made I never imagined her to admit it to him but she did. He already knew but hearing it from her I guess he wasn't prepared therefore. Especially after such an intense day.

You're welcome Kris. I just needed to use that title. I also added a few new reasons to the OP and some gifs. and you are right there are some many amazing gifs from this episode!

By far the best episode for Red and Liz until now. I never imagined her telling him that she cares. I am so glad she finally made an effort.

I think she was crying because she let it in that Red means a lot more to her then she wants to admit. She finally saw that Red has feelings to and that there is a reason why he is the way he is. I believe for the first time she saw it from his POV instead of hers.

I think I was as surprised as he was when she told him that she cared. This episode was perfection. Not only the car scene but all of their scenes.

I bet it's so complex... Why she was crying in the car. First of all she might have been hurt because he didn't honor what she had done enough, he didn't see why she did it or he didn't want to. That's the reason why she told him that she cared I guess. Besides, it felt as if she was profiling him in the car. She did that deeply for the first time and I think she felt so sad for him, so sorry that he thought he wouldn't deserve her help or any help at all. And then she got aware of how alone, how hard he is on himself. Maybe even the realization that she had never thanked him before for saving her life so many times.

You know what I'm wondering... Do you think his 'Thank you' was him showing her his vulnerability for that one second that she was talking about before? Or do you think she didn't expect him to thank her and that's why her eyes got even more teary when she told him 'You're welcome'. And that sign of a smile on her face...

I loved that hint of amusement when she raised her hand to bid on him, as if she surprised him pleasantly and he's hardly ever surprised by anything.

I think she was crying because she never thought about the danger she was in -- she was only thinking of saving him. He was calmly facing death with the understanding that she had escaped and was safe from harm. For her to return shows him and her that he means a great deal more to her than just as an asset to the FBI. She walked in and he had a gun at the back of his head ... moments from death. For the first time, she saw that he wasn't fighting back against it. He was teary, IMO, because he cares about nothing and nobody else but her - and if his enemies (which he has a lot of) ever realized that she's his only vulnerability, then her life is in greater danger. He doesn't want her to risk her life for him again, but he wouldn't hesitate to kill for her. She realized that she feels the same way, despite the fact that she tried to tell herself otherwise. Red has gotten under her skin and is close to her heart.

I think she was crying because she probably thought for a minute there that she just might lose Red forever. And it scares her, that thought of losing him. Her emotions got the best of her too.

In regards to her tears:
I think it scares her that she cares about Red so much. She's shut everyone out of her life since Tom. And the fact that she admitted to Red that she cared about him was basically opening herself up to pain again. Especially since she's still a bit torn on Red's true intentions.

I somehow as well think it finally dawned on her that she really could have lost Red forever that evening... I'm sure it's been really difficult for her to realize right away but when they sat there and he was telling her never to do that again I guess it caught up on her. I'm wondering how much she had seen and heard though.

Chelly, I love what your are referring to. You're right. With telling him that she cared she made herself vulnerable towards Red again and now there definitely is the possible of her being hurt again. But it also give Red the possibility that this is exactly what he doesn't want for her, to be hurt.

Yes, I think the reason as to why she was crying is probably a bit complex. I understand the scene was intense and emotional for them both, but after they showed Liz shed a tear, I remember wondering why exactly she was crying as she is usually pretty closed off to Red.

I love to ship Red and Liz, but my brian hasn't decided HOW it wants to ship them! LMAO! As long as they are together in scenes I'm happy@!! haha!
