Yeah, I know... Maybe Red doesn't even see right through it right away. Maybe it's Dembe who needs to get him back on track. I'm really not sure how far Red will go to prevent somebody from getting to Garvey before him and if he might 'use' Liz to some degree to find him at least. What if he 'uses' her and therewith is okay with what she is doing in the wake of the search? It would need Dembe to open his eyes then.

If he does that then I really think Dembe will say something to open his eyes. He cares too much about both of them to let Liz get "used" by Red.

I can't figure out where Red is in this or what he knows. He seemed genuinely surprised in her apartment and when he realized she used him to get the evidence.

And honestly Red being written as unknowing to this extent is very OOC

Maybe he has some plan in place to stop her. But then again she is stewmakering.
