Resssler arrrested her for murder. She was in jail. She would have had to have an initial appearance in front of a judge to either set or deny bail. Then eventually she would have been tried for murder.
So while she was in jail waiting on a bail hearing (or some type of hearing) red set his plan in motion. So reds plan exonerated her from facing murder charges and allowed her to be freed from prison without a murder trial. He wasn’t able to get her badge back at that time. Does that help? __________________

Didn't he blackmail the Director? and then when the Director exonarated Liz, Red threw him out of the plane right?

He had the director kidnapped and on the plane. He called Hitchins from the plane and pretty much blackmailed her. Then once he had what he wanted, Hitchins said the director was a liability to them.

Right, he blackmailed Hitchins and she even did the press conference where she declared Liz is free and not of fault

I really need to know as well
I still hope for there being a cure somehow.... He has all these resources and still such a disease is bringing him down. Is it something natural or something that he is suffering from because of something that has happened in the past?No, she doesn't care anymore...
