It's stunning to see it up close. The emotion in the finale was incredible. Kaplan actually looks frighten ended. I wonder if she was completely acting or if James scared her a little.

I somehow doubt that James scared her because she's such an experienced actress... She's longer in the business than he is and I doubt that she would be intimidated by him.

But great acting, really! I definitely need to finish my season 3 re-watch!

I know she has been in the business longer than James but still she could have been scared.

But no less amazing acting.

I don't think she was scared until that moment to me. I think she had made peace with whatever would happen. She seemed defiant almost. But that moment when he takes her face, It looked like she gulped.

Yes, that's my impression as well... I guess that's the moment where she realized that she really made a mistake. Until this moment she didn't know if Liz would be safe or not and she believed her to be safe and therewith believed herself to be right.
This moment though proved her wrong and she knows how important Liz is to Red, maybe more than anybody else... That wrath is on her now.

I think so too. She knew she made a mistake and Red was beyond pissed. I think she would have been okay if Liz were safe. She could justify her actions, but then she couldn't anymore.

Exactly... With Liz being kidnapped because Tom has been followed she realized that it was a huge mistake and that nothing she'll ever say is going to make it okay again.
