I like to be surprised... And I for myself got the impression that Ressler would be willing to go more into the gray area for Red now as well. He kept the secret about his true identity in respect for him. THAT is something so big for Ressler.

True. He even seemed to change his opinion of Red when he learned Red hadn’t committed treason.
I don’t mean to say he loves him but it just felt like his attitude changed. __________________

And the reason why he did it... He could very well have told him that it was for Liz, but he specifically told Red that he is keeping it because out of respect for him. I loved that so much.
Not even him being the real RR didn't change anything for Ressler because he as well is seeing the person that Red is now. __________________

He definitly changed his opinion on Red and I love that. I don't think there is anything left from his opinion on Red from when the show first started.

I'm sure that Ressler isn't blind for Red to be that criminal still but he knows it's so multilayered and I as well agree with Marilyn that he for sure expects that something major they don't know about might have happened in his past, too.
