Enjoyed the episode. Still a lot of hatred for Liz. I’m so sick Of her and hate she told Ressler the secret. Disappointed that he stuck with her again. Did enjoy the tights story. So sick of Katerina. And agree with red. Liz is cherishing a fake. I think Katerina stopped being her mother a long time ago. Surely they aren’t going with a fake Katerina.

Loved the birthday party. Love red and Dembe.

Hate elodie and Aram and wish he had sense to go. He’s telling her about their cases. Anyone else worried about that?

I liked the case and the forger. I liked how she was helping to try to destroy her family. They made a pain pill and hid the addictive ness from the public. Just like the real people who made OxyContin.

Don't really have much to say about this episode. Didn't think it was too interesting. The blacklister didn't do anything for me.

I am so worried about Aram! How did he get it into his head to tell Elodie about the blacklisters! That is so dumb and dangerous! I can't believe that he did that. I was so happy he wanted to break up with because he saw that what they are doing is not good but then he falls for her again. I am disappointed about that.

Liz told Ressler that her mother is still alive. Expected that. Did like the story he told her about being on ballet!

And I loved Dembe's birthday party. That was the highlight of the episode for me.

I think this episode would be better if the next episode came on last night instead of next Friday. But here are some takes I had from this episode.

I've never seen Red so happy. Of course it had to be Dembe's birthday.
Sneaking Red through the Ukraine looked like tons of fun.
I love how Red is so comfortable in the most awkward of situations.
The kitchen and bathroom scenes were priceless.
I will give gossip girl a pass on telling that secret to Ressler. She did it to keep him from feeling so guilt ridden. Normally I give her hell for this but this once she gets a pass.
Cooper calling Red about Agnes's recital was just awesome.
Aram, you're in a bad way. Best of luck with everything. You're gonna need it.


I'm going to add my take on Katarina here as well. I was a little surprised by Red telling Liz she was a fake and how he was duped by a forgery. You almost got the sense he was talking about 3 things at once. This was a very well written scene and normally I never take any joy in Red not having the upper hand here but ohhh boy this might be something. Honestly, I think there's a bit more to the Katarina Rostova situation than he let's on but it's clear Red feels like Liz will never know any of it. Almost like he has no idea that she now knows he isn't Illya as he allowed her to believe. I think maybe this time, he started the celebration just a little early.

Jay, I agree with you... It feels like a double episode actually. I really thought it would only be two episodes that would air in one night but that's not the case I guess. It ended halfway.

I don't have to say too much about this episode either. I hate heist episodes, I'm sorry. They are boring and I'm missing all the relationship/emotional aspects and the storyline.

Elodie and Aram I so hate these two. I still am shocked about Aram telling her about the cases and the blacklisters. And her question about who is coming up with all these names made me soooo suspicious. He hasn't learned one thing.

Dembe's birthday was fantastic I loved it so much and the present Red had for Dembe and how he got it So cool.

Her telling her secret to Ressler I expected that but again I'm disappointed by him. What is wrong with all of them? No remorse or Katarina killing these two FBI agents, nothing, really?

I loved it so much, too. It reminded me of New Amsterdam actually. We just had an episode on that topic there and I was so shocked to learn this.

Kris, did you not know the truth behind OxyContin before this episode? Yes I recall the new Amsterdam episode to now that you mention it!

I haven't heard about this specific drug before, Marilyn. That's it... I don't know if it is going by a different name here in Germany maybe but I have never heard about it Maybe it's not even a thing here?

ETA - I just read about it and in Germany we have extremely strict rules for getting a prescription for Oxy. It's one of the most strict here and you even need a special prescription and you need a special pass that confirms you have been prescript Oxy. It's scary what I read about the US. You even get it with light toothache That's crazy! You'd never get that here at all. It's one of the last pain meds that you would get here when nothing else helps.
Sorry for the rant but I was shocked.

Full birthday episode was needed. I think it would have been better if they had aired both episodes like they planned.

Yeah kris and the makers of oxy made billions off it because they lied to the government regulators and said it was not addictive. And they were never prosecuted. Now use of that drug causes millions of overdoses and has ruined lives. Pretty sure that’s where the idea came for this episode. I think that’s why I liked the blacklist part because at least someone cared about what her family had done.

I get that, Marilyn I liked the blacklister somehow, too because she wasn't okay with how her family made the money. I'm wondering if we'll see her again... I guess not, huh?
