The question is: Did Red know in the first place that Naomi and Jennifer still were alive and that they were in protective custody or did he really believe that they died that Christmas Eve. Because if he thought they died, maybe it had something to do with the trauma back then that he doesn't recall Garvey. Or maybe he can't recall him because Garvey saw him but Red didn't get the chance to meet him.
But like I said before, there are other flaws in the theory  You think it might be Jennifer who is behind all of it? Even the Garvey attack? But that would mean Jennifer would be interested in the suitcase... Why would she be? __________________

Maybe she hates Red or she wants answers Naomi won't give her. She might want the truth about who she is and who her stepdad? Father? Is. Maybe she's always been searching for answers or Kaplan pulled her in? I don't know. I'm just making guesses.

I was thinking about Garvey. The only way he knows how about the bones is because Tom was investigating. I guess he had an AFIS alert if a search was done. He must have suspected an identity from years ago but couldn't do anything because the bones were hidden by Red. Still doesn't explain who Garvey is. Or why he was waiting or what he knows about Red. If he does wants revenge on Red, why does he need the bones?
I keep thinking Garvey has been a player since S2 because of what the therapist said but we really don't know that. We don't know when Garvey became interested in this Red. Has he hated him all this time? Or did it just start because of the bones. I wonder if the Nash a Syndicate was on Reds radar as a potential enemy. __________________

And what if it's somebody who was close to Garvey? Like family of his or a wife or something? We don't even know how old these bones are, do we? We don't know where to put them in the timeline... I hate that. Knowing about this would be such a big advance already.

Exactly... The whole timeline is missing when it comes to the bones because it has never been mentioned when these bones were put there. I really can't sort it somewhere in the past.

I have a couple questions. Don't know if all of them are relevant for the OP.
- Is the woman who claims to be Raymond Reddington's daughter, Jennifer? ( I know this needs to be formulated in a different way but don't know how.  )- How did Garvey put "Jennifer" in witness protection? - Did Garvey also put Naomi in witness protection? __________________
