I wonder how many episodes will have flashbacks. Some people are already complaining about them, but I'm looking forward to them. A long as they don't get as extensive as Scandal. Scandal sometimes overdoes the flashbacks, but I also don't care as much about their characters, so their flashbacks aren't as relevant as say a Ellis/little Mer FB would be.

From the articles they said Kate Burton is back for the premiere, but it could be released she's in more flashbacks.

Yeah, she's only confirmed for the premiere, but initially they only announced Kelly would appear in 10x23, and she's going to be recurring for a lot of S11 it looks like.

Just read them. Um... seems like there's a lot of freaking babies in it, but I'd say Derek is definitely at GSMH in this episode. Maybe Geena's character is an OB?

Dr. Kelly is definitely Derek, I would say. Amelia's great, but she didn't make GSMH the go-to hospital for neuro. Derek's the only one at GSMH who's made it the go-to place for anything. It looks like they're casting a new resident, though? Dr. Rogers is most likely Amelia. Although some of the lines from Dr. Kelly sound more like stuff Amelia would say than Derek. I'd say they're both definitely on the case, though.

I can't imagine Derek saying that. It sounds more like something Amelia would say.

The others just seem like random cases, mainly pregnant women and infants. I doubt this is the MD centric episode unless Mer's going to find out she's pregnant and then... I don't see that happening, but if they wanted to complicate MD's situation further, well, I guess that'd be the way to do it. Unfortunately, the first thing that comes to mind is Jackson and April or Callie and Arizona. Or maybe there's a connection to Ellis and how she gave up Maggie when she was a baby.

Arizona and Alex I'm guessing. Apparently Dr. Barrett (presumably Alex) makes the patient worse. Unless it's Stephanie or Jo doing their first solo procedure, but Jo's the only one whose focus was on Peds and I thought she was interested in Ortho now? Besides I doubt they'd actually let their first solo procedure be on a small infant.

Hope it's a Derek case.

Ughh why a lot of babies. And I hope Davis's character is not an OB. Why would they keep her role a secret if she was just an OB?? Plus why would most fans, care a case of her in every episode, when there's ALOT of surgeons? To include babies/moms?

Maybe all the pregnant/moms are needed for some type of research or something? Who knows...

I was hoping a big guest star with a long arc will be heavily involved with the lead. [suddenly not that looking forward for her tbh]

I want some Meredith in the sides already and good spoilers again.

She could be the OB who delivered Maggie and thus knew Ellis?

Maybe the babies are a red herring like Maggie's bar date was a red herring.
