Okay I looked it up and her name was Eleanor Powell she was a book reviewer. So your were right and I can't find her on IMDb either are they hiding her too. Maybe they'v changed her name and that's who Stacy Martin is play. Her character is fay who also wasn't in the book.

Your right and they would be stupid to leave her out but I don't think they will. Ben Wheatley talked about her in that article I put up a while ago her and Eleanor. They live with him and everything if they took them out of the story he will be all by himself when he blocks himself off from the rest of the residents that might get boring he needs those two relationships as twisted as they maybe.

I heard a bit of Tom's reading of High Rise especially the dog eating scene...who would've thought Tom talking about his character eating a dog sound so....sexy. lol

Now that's one thing I would not mind them taking out of the movie. It breaks my heart watching animals suffer.

I've been reading some reviews about this book on Goodreads and i came across a good and funny review and the reviewer said why didn't these people just, ya know, leave the apartment building and go outside since the outside wasn't some unhinged civilization killing for food. I found that funny. Maybe the reason the tenants stay is because of the cheap rent. Anyway, i found it funny.
I don't know if this film is R rated or not, but if it is they might do that. I don't think they'll actually show the dog getting killed, but yeah it is quite a disturbing scene i can only fathom. |

It doesn't have a rating yet but I don't see how it can be anything but rated R. Its not a PG13 movie that's for sure.

Yeah, I'm expecting an R-rating too because we're going to get a washed out version of the book.

What rating do you think it should get.

I love animals, but I always struggle to get why people don't mind their own kind being brutalized in every possible way, but all hell breaks lose if anyone in the movie lays a hand on a pet.
It might be my cold black heart. __________________

I guess because people perceive animals to be innocent beings? Lord knows I know some bitchy and mean cats and dogs though lol.

If a cat or dog is nasty and mean then it usually has something to do with the way it was treated by it's owner.
