Oh yeah

"Jesus christ, slow down...you could have went...there was an empty parking space you just passed, you could have parked there...." and so on.

My favorite part was when we were at a four way stop and she kept signaling cars to go ahead when it was my turn.

So, tonight at the museum - not a soul in sight for half the time, then a group of guys comes in and I get ready to do the whole introduction/presentation of the works on display, only to have two police officers arrive 5 mins after them. Apparently the guys got into the museum just to hide from them - not sure why because they only wanted their IDs, and yes they had been drinking and singing (loudly) at a pub nearby, but nothing more from what I could understand.
Once it all died down and everyone got away, a (really, in this case) drunk guy came in and started reciting our national anthem to me. Then he left. (these are the joy of free entrance)
And to finish sweetly, I was walking home and one of my flip-flops broke apart, so I had to walk like the Hunchback of Notre Dame for 2/3 of the distance, and a car that was driving by stopped to see what was wrong with me, and just wouldn't freaking leave me be even after I said I was fine and the man sort of gave me a scare.

...I loved those flip-flops, too, was so happy after all the cold and rain we got sun again so I could ignore the sneakers for a while longer and go back to naked feet. (before you judge me, they were elegant enough to wear at night)

Good grief! What kind of job are you working these days?

Be careful! That happened to me once at a grocery store parking lot. Some guy wanted to help carry stuff out and just kept asking long after I said no thanks several times. Yikes. I could tell he was hitting on me, but jeez, how many times do you have to say thanks but no thanks. Unnerving.
