I don't think that is true across the board. She has been asked this question and answered that she doesn't have a preference because each offers a different experience.

As I said before the character she plays has a huge impact on her decision. Juicy roles for women her age used to be more in theater, but she has admitted that thankfully that is changing. And the opportunities within each also play a role in her decision. She likes to do new things to stretch her wings so to speak. For example, she directed last year in theater. And reports are she will be directing this year on Reign. Can't Wait!

Yes, the outfits are so beautiful! The writers messed up but costume and hair/makeup team did a great job one more time I loved her outfit in every episode! And I remember when the season started we tweeted that we want to see her more with her hair down and HairReign did this for us I miss HairReign though

In my pursuit of learning and seeing more of Open Heart, I discovered the web exclusive interview from the cbc.ca website. In that interview she discusses theater as being a re-construction because you are working to build on what you have done in previous performances working on the flow. But she says she thinks "film is a deconstructive process, where you're working in fragments....and you focus for however many hours a day on one little piece"

I think so. I think her real hair was used in the bed scene with Narcisse. Note the color difference. This seems too blonde.
