Oh these two...we've all said it countless times. We know this is going to end horribly but they have so much chemistry I seriously hope we can get SOME good moments out of this marriage before it all burns down in a blaze of horribleness lol.

"God willing, I will never have to sleep with that man again." Good luck with that one Mary!! I can see why she's still in the 'heck no' phase in that area but also speaking for myself as a wife...sometimes life is just a lot easier when you placate your husband

Obviously, I'm hoping for some more positive moments, too. We all said it before, too, but it would be a real shame to waste Will and Ade's chemistry.

I understand where Mary's coming from, too - but I believe you're right. I'm not married, but I think every married woman I know would probably agree with that sentiment.

Also... Do you think that it is assumed that their marriage was consummated, even though Mary dismissed the viewing of it? Perhaps now that they are married, it will be assumed that the child is her husband's and legitimate. Therefore, Mary really wouldn't HAVE to sleep with Darnley again if she didn't want to.

I've been thinking about this, too - when and HOW Darnley finds out is very important. I'm praying that the idea of their child is what might bring them closer together (for a moment at least).

So... I was thinking of including pretty gifs of the wedding in the OP. It was so hauntingly beautiful. But... it was also REALLY depressing. What do you guys think? Are you happy with all of the gifs in the OP?

I think it's definitely assumed since she did spend her wedding night with him in the same room. Everyone else I don't think will have any problem with the legitimacy of her child especially since she's so early in the pregnancy.

The kicker here is Darnley...if she doesn't sleep with him again ASAP he's going to know when that child was conceived and I would think she'd be concered with what he would do with the info. I would think she'd sleep with him just to ensure that there's nothing he can use against her but we'll see what she does in the next episode.

I hope it brings them closer, it really is a shame that they are both so miserable.

I think it would be fun to add some The wedding really was gorgeous even though soo...depressing.

Yeah. It doesn't matter what everyone else thinks. It matters what Darnley thinks. And obviously he's gonna know it was conceived before the wedding....or worse kand historically speaking) doesn't think it's his at all. He may believe that's why she didn't tell him right away.

^ True. That's my fear... that he'll end up believing the child isn't his at all. That would be so tragic. I could definitely see them going that way, because of the history.

I guess we'll have to see how Mary handles things in the next episode...

I'm going to replace the last gif set in the OP with the wedding gif set. I'm afraid it would be too much if I left it all in.

I was thinking... Is it strange that they didn't actually show Mary and Darnley's love scene? I mean... it was their first time and it was when her son was conceived, so it was pretty significant. But if this exchange hadn't happened, we would not have even known that they had slept together.

Darnley: Let's go spend the night together.
Mary: No, we can't. We're not married yet.
Darnley: Well, that didn't stop you last night.

Do you think it's possible that we might still get another Mary/Darnley love scene in the next episode - one that is not just implied? Like we said, it's a shame to waste their chemistry.

We did see their first time when he had Mary up against the wall in the hallway.

OH. I knew that it was a heated make out session in the hallway, but I didn't realize that that was when they had gone "all the way." I guess I assumed that they ended up in either his chambers or her chambers (and maybe they did).

Elizabeth getting it on in the throne room, and Mary getting it on in the hallway. These queens are bold (and a little reckless).

Well she went for his belt and he pulled up her dress and her legs were around his waist, so yeah...and it was implied that they did in fact end up in bed eventually, but that was definitely what happened.

Ah, ok. I guess I wasn't watching closely enough at the end of that scene. I haven't rewatched that episode yet. Looks like I need to. Though, I think it would only make me more disappointed about these two.

Yeah that hallway scene was hot, definitely showed their first time just not in the conventional love scene type way we are used to seeing it.

That episode was so good...it's a shame it was all ruined.

I hope so, it's hard to imagine Reign wasting all of that chemistry. And at least from the promo...Darnley does seem to be trying in addition to Mary going through some rough times (attempted assassination and maybe James leaving?) so she might be tempted to relent. Not to mention if she truly wants to hide their baby's real conception date from Darnley then she's going to have to sleep with him really soon
