Darnley is really just a victim. In his moments if clarity he was really very sweet. Lady Lennox should burn in the fiery depths of hell.

Will Kemp is just amazing, I can't believe how much I've enjoyed watching Darnley (even if most of the time I wanted to strangle him.) Love the twist with the syphilis...I kinda had a feeling they might do something like this because you could see the glimmers of goodness coming through at times.

"Mary is a survivor." Even in his delusions, he had some clarity despite his mother's evil manipulations. Or when he was snarling in Mary's face and she got up and curled over in pain - you could see the split second of terror on his face that she might be hurt before he flipped to being a monster again.

Such great acting and I so appreciate all the layers to him. I can't deny that ever since Mary and Darnley met in 4x04 I've secrety hoped that they'd somehow make it work even though that's completely delusional It's so hard when two actors have such great chemistry.

^ Couldn't have said it any better. Will is brilliant and SO talented. It has been so wonderful watching him bring out the many layers of Darnley's complex and tragic character - the good and the bad. I've loved seeing the goodness come through. It was so touching when he recognized that Mary was a survivor.

Totally agree about Marnley, too. Will and Ade's chemistry is fantastic and I would have enjoyed any opportunity to see more of it.

How lady Lennox could pull her son out of a hospital (which could mean his death) just to gain power over the privy council is disgusting. I don't even think Narcisse would go that far.

^ That's saying a lot, because we all know there is not much that Narcisse wouldn't do to gain power. Her disregard for her son (and her grandson) is just COLD. She really is despicable.

I mean judging from his reaction to his son's death I would assume he would not do something that would clearly cause his own child to die.

Right. At least Narcisse is not that cold and heartless. He does seem to show genuine concern for his children and their well-being.

Poor Darnley having to be raised by that woman. I can't imagine what that must have been like. It's a miracle he's not more messed up than he already is.

Gosh, Will is so fun. I am so grateful that I've gotten to know him through Reign. I'll definitely be following his career.

Will is an amazing actor but I wish we got more Mary & Darnley relationships because she had most chemistry with Toby and Will. No one else. It's a pity writers didn't explore it properly.
