I love the longer hair. The way it's styled in that last pic reminds a little of Johnny Depp in Edward Scissorhands.

It's fantastic.

I'm so happy to FINALLY know what's been going on with Charles... even if it is heartbreaking. I was so relieved when he started listening to Catherine again... before everything went south.

I loved when they were talking about Charles during the Afterbuzz show! I believe Drew was the one who talked about how Francis' absence is felt so strongly... especially for Charles, who knows he can never be his brother. Sure, Charles is in a terrible situation where he has inherited something that he never wanted - and he endured a life-altering trauma when he was kidnapped by the Red Knights. But, that doesn't mean he can afford to be weak and throw away all of the power that Catherine (and the rest of the Valois) have fought to build and protect. That's why Catherine slapped him (and according to Megan, made him soup.

)

And Megan also complimented Spencer as an actor and commented on how beautiful he is (even with the blood goetee

). He has the same blue eyes as his brother.

Part of me understands why Charles did what he did. He finally finds people - a family - who make him feel happy and at peace. These people happen to be Protestant. It makes sense that he would feel connected to their faith. But still... converting to Protestantism at this point is so dangerous and insane!
