Maybe if the info about Reign being renewed was not so early and cw announce it when they already filmed his death and had no idea there would actually be a 3rd season... But now they're filming 2x14 and it's official that there's a 3rd season I don't think Laurie will kill him already in s2... She always said she's Team Frary so I hope it was not a lie and she wants Frary till the end

They do seem a little obssesed with the parallels between them but I'm hoping they don't d it in this case

Other thing that I'm worried about is that the original contracts with the network are for 2 years, they have to renew them now so it depends on whether Toby wants or not to continue too.

I think it varies by network. I've heard initial series contracts are actually five years for leads.

I hope he wants to be a part of the show in s3 as well uf he says no that would mean that a lot of other characters will have to leave too

Hmmm, if given the choice, Toby may be ready to move on, but it's hard to say. He also seems like he has a good head on his shoulders and, as an actor, he should know that steady gigs don't come along that often. If he can squeeze another season out of it, he just might take it.

This is going to sound cray cray, but I am still of the mind that Laurie may go the "Francis fakes his death" route.

I'm torn on this topic. While I don't want to watch it. I could barely watch Nosty's vision. I feel like it needs to happen on the show. I need to watch it, for whatever reason, maybe for closure. I'm positive that Toby would just blow me away with his performance (like he normally does). I'm really interested to see if they go the route history says or if the writers will think of their own reason that Francis dies.

Rachel, as crazy as that sounds, I think that would be really interesting!!!! Not gonna lie, I'd love to see that!!!

^ I understand what you mean, Heather. There is a part of me that needs to see it, as a painful as it would be. Plus, we know Toby would give a phenomenal performance.

Rachel, it might sound crazy, but that would be AMAZING! Obviously, I love Francis (and Toby) so I would love to see that.

That's why I was somewhat happy that the show would end in s2 without never showing Francis' final days (), that way I could fantasize that he lived happily ever after
