Well, at first it was developed... and I understand why they decided to end the Francis/Mary/Bash triangle and not drag it out. But there was no reason why they couldn't have continued to develop Bash and Mary's bond after Francis passed. I mean clearly they had the opportunity - and they even teased it. They just decided to go in a different direction for some reason. It makes sense that they needed to focus on Mary's relationships with her two other future husbands, but I would definitely have preferred seeing Mary and Bash actually TOGETHER for a little while rather than Mary/Gideon.

i almost kinda wish they hadnt even gone that route with the romance if we were then not even gonna get any friendship stuff afterwards...

Yeah, we got to see them working together in Scotland, but it was not enough. I would have loved to see more of their friendship.

it seriously makes no sense.. what other show would you have two of the mains not even interact with each other after only 1 season.. when there were quite literally so many opportunities and chances that they should have
