Based on the flashback episode 5.5 Red Dawn, do you think Lisbon was drawn to Jane from the beginning? Do you think she realized right away that underneath the con man he was basically a decent man?

I think in those first days Jane's mind was definitely elsewhere. But I don't think he would have gone to the lengths he did to join Lisbon's team if he didn't respect and admire her. And I think that initial chemistry was there as well and contributed to his desire to work with her.

I'm not sure Jane would have had that fear of bringing down the wrath of Red John on Lisbon that early on. A big part of that fear later was the idea that Red John would come to realize that Jane cared for Lisbon. Red John wouldn't have thought that so early in their association.

I think Jane was confident that he could manipulate just about anyone. But I do think he saw that Lisbon had a soft heart and would respond to his situation.

Yes that's sort of a "never gonna happen" thing and it's incredibly insensitive to even imagine a person could do that, much less say it.

My brother lost his child - my nephew - and although he doesn't talk about it much, when he does, it's obvious he'll never get over it or accept it. He manages to live with it and he's managed to go on with his life, but get over it? Never.

Hannigan was more fit to be a garbage collector. Someone who doesn't interact with people very much.
