That was SO manipulative. But that was part of Pike's character. It's probably something that worked well for him in his job - getting people to tell him things they might not otherwise reveal. But he used it just as much in his personal life and didn't seem to realize how wrong that is.

I think she did see it - especially with the proposal. She practically made a face. I think she likely would have broken things off with Pike for exactly that reason after the Blue Bird case. Except then Jane had to go and be all manipulative too. I think a big part of Lisbon's anger with Jane was because she'd just realized how manipulative Pike was. She felt like all the men in her life were trying to trick her and control her.

But to accept his proposal out of spite and lets not even get into him asking what jane had planned for lisbon I mean I'm surprised jane didn't slug him

Imagine if Pike came back to the Austin office - and was working with Lisbon. While Jane is home with the baby. I wonder if Jane would be the type who would find that threatening or if he'd be able to deal with it.

I think the person who would have a harder time with it would be Lisbon. Can you imagine working with a guy you promised to join in another city and the ditched? Awkward!
