I've been waiting for a movie to come out that I actually want to go to a theater to see. In the 2-1/2 years I've lived here, I've never been to a local movie theater. So far, nothing appeals to me.

I feel you. I think I've been to the movie theatre maybe once a year or less, not many films seem to interest me enough to actually go hope there will be some new, exciting ones when filming can resume more easily and with fewer restrictions

I can't even remember the last movie I went to a theater to see. Although my family and I did go to a local drive-in theater not long after I moved down here. There is one still operating about an hour away from us, and it shows first run movies. This was before COVID, so it's not one of those that popped up because of the pandemic. We went mostly to see what the theater was like, so we weren't too picky about the movie. We saw Aladdin. It was fun, but I wouldn't want to go when it's really hot in the summer. Even once it's dark it can be pretty uncomfortable - plus there are mosquitos and gnats in the warmer months that would drive you crazy. We went in early May so it was still cool at night. One of the advantages was that we could bring our dogs with us. I'm not sure what the dogs thought of the movie, though.

I went to my second therapy session today and the therapist says I've improved enough that I don't have to come back. He originally had me scheduled for 6 sessions! I still have to do the exercises at home for several weeks, but that is so much better than having to go in once a week. And way cheaper, too!

I've done physical therapy a number of times for different issues and every time it has worked wonders. Which really makes me wonder why insurance is so bad about paying for it. Every time, I've paid out of pocket for a significant part of the charges. Given the results, I'm not unwilling to pay for it, but it just seems that it should be considered as much a part of treatment as prescriptions and doctor visits, and paid for accordingly. Plus, many people are just not able to afford the high cost of therapy, and probably have to pass it up because of that.

Went to see Jungle Cruise with my SIL and my niece. It's a crazy movie where you just have to realize that nothing that happens is at all based on reality and it has a lot of lame jokes. But they are so lame they are funny, Anyway, we had a good time and it was good to get back into a movie theater.

This may sound weird but a man that's mother was my neighbors best friend is finally getting a DNA testing done to see if DNA from his pants is who who he supposedly killed this case is a storm here's a documentary about it

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=55oXA4b_S1s

First the judge had it in for him the jury suggested life the judge overruled it and that was just the beginning

I remember you talked about this once before. It must be weird to have a connection to a possible murderer - even a distant connection. But it will be interesting to see what the DNA says.
