Yes, I find it a bit weird that people dismiss the friendship or that they don't care much for it since their friendship is the core of the series. It's what makes the series what it is, and without it VA wouldn't be the series it is today.

Exactly! When I started to read the book it was such a surprise to have the focus be on a female friendship and it was just so refreshing. It's why I fell in love with the series

I think there was another when Rose returns and the news about what happened had spread and Rose sees Lissa and Christian being all lovey in the library(?), and In think Lissa asks if she is okay.

Hmm yes, I remember that now. And then they had some moments when they were at the ski resort but I don't think that were ever alone, but mostly had 'scenes' with the other characters.
