i've always liked Jorah, but because of Iain's portrayal i like him even more in the show.

I've always thought that Iain Glen and Liam Cunningham are two of the Scene Stealers on the show. Liam's scene about the murder of Shireen made me cry.

I got sucked in and went through the books in about two months, and every year we keep getting told TWOW isn't coming out, GRRM seems way more interested in publishing different stuff. And while that is his choice, I think it's unfair to his fans who helped him become so successful because they loved this story.

Yep. I really enjoyed them, and it's incredibly disappointing that some book-only plotlines are never going to be resolved, I have fully given up hope that they will finish after years of "not now but soon!!". I wouldn't have read them if I knew they'd never be finished, this is apparently a common problem with fantasy authors and why a few relatives of mine won't start unfinished series anymore.

The reason I didn't start the books was mainly because they were so huge and I am a lazy reader I admit

I hope for all the book readers that GRRM will finish one day.

Lyanna/Jorah would be an amazing meeting. I hope they have some good scenes.
