I read everywhere that in the books it has more hints towards the Jon and Dany meeting/union than the show. I do think both mediums will have the same end romance.

i think both (books and show), had several hints about Jonerys being together and their iconic meeting. when talking about parallels, there is so many (literally since season 1), and i'm not talking only about the most obvious one: their parallels of ice and fire.
