Flashbacks offer a much deeper insight of the characters and their past. I am glad Bran is back.

Brans powers is like the perfect flashback machine. And it does feel like sloppy storytelling (Which is why D & D didn't want to do Flashback back when they started the show)

It's so good to have him back. Well, whatever happens, I just hope the Three-Eyed Raven won't stop Bran's vision again, because we all want to see what the hell happened at the Tower of Joy.

Can you imagine if they stopped the Tower of Joy flashback after Ned and his men defeats the Kings Guards, but before he goes up into the Tower?
