I want the Jon Snow one to fail out of pure pettiness.

I don't care about the character anymore after he became an NPC, I have no idea how they can retroactively fix how stupid he became, and I am not happy with how Kit reacted to the S8 criticisms.

It just annoys me. HOTD is at least set considerably in the past with none of the same characters.

I'm also still upset about that one ugh. I can handle GOT stuff in the past but a sequel to this ****ty season 8...ugh.

same here guys! i hope it kinda doesn't draw all the GOT fans back into watching but i think a lot of curious fans will turn in. just like with the Targaryen spin off. and i almost tend to think both will be a success

My issues with HOTD are mainly due to the source story having too many similarities to a certain S8 plotline that almost makes it seem like an unhealthy belief in Westeros is justified. Before S8 I would have otherwise been super hyped, there are a lot of interesting stories in the history of Wetseros and the Known World. I am not sure if I will watch it, but I am not rooting for it to fail.

Jon Snow's series however, ugh, I really am not feeling seeing more of this character after he what he became. Even if they revert him back to how he was in the earlier seasons, the damage of S8 still leaves an impression. He was a non-character who just said "She's muh qween" and "I dun want it", made really stupid choices, didn't even have a significant role in the Long Night, till suddenly he was needed to kill off Dany then peace out to the wall.

And what is there beyond the wall now? It did not seem like other Wildlings out there survived, only the ones who followed Jon. There's no White Walkers or Wights, no zombie animals as they were also wights, the last giant was killed by Ramsay, the last children of the forest are dead, the 3 Eyed Raven is now in Kings Landing as Bran. How will newer characters come in? What about the intrigue and scheming between characters that we loved in early GOT? Is it just going to be "Jon hangs with Tormund, hooks up with a hot Wildling sometimes, and hey here's the occasional cool creature from further beyond the wall"? How could they make Jon's heritage mean anything at all beyond the wall, it was barely relevant at all even in GOT after all the build up. Meh. I will read people's reviews on it and that is all.
