I feel like Fury's excuse for not getting a supe is pretty stupid. Like when the world is at stake is the wrong time to try to rely less on superheroes. Like maybe start that with smaller scale conflicts.

I like that this series is more personal for Fury and he does give reasons for not calling up every Superhero he can get into contact with for help, it makes it feel like this is Nick Fury's fight.
