yes, the conversation between Fury and his wife was incredible. haven't seen much but that might be some of the best writing in the entire MCU - at least many agree

Yeah, this show is good, but not that good. I'm still obviously glad emilia signed onto marvel. But the show is a bit of a let down, it's too slow paced for so few episodes and short ones erven, and while the character writing and dialogues are really good, the plot writing really isn't I have to say.

All we know is that Fury is going to survive. He's in The Marvels and it's already been said that Secret Invasion takes place before it and leads into it. so unless the Fury we see in The Marvels is a skrull, Fury is very much not going to die.

Then again I have to underline the scene between Rhodey and Fury. The cat and mouse they had to play. Rhodey mentioning he made copies of the tape even in the middle of trying to assure Fury those tapes would remain hidden in a tone that makes it seem like he's doing him a solid. Neither guy being able to fully lay all their chips on the table. Awesome.
