It would go down as one of the worst endings of all time tbh. It's crap for any show and should be reserved only for soaps.

And how would it end for Sarah? Would she just wake up and go pick up Kira and be a proper Mum, because she's already trying to do that.

Omg no LOST didn't do that!

Instead everyone either stayed on the island or left lived out their natural lives and at some point died. Then they all reunited in a purgatory type AU world before going to heaven.

And when I say reunite it was the shippiest most hetero nonsense of all time - no matter how much I shipped the main couple and got an eternal heaven endgame, it was ridiculous.
