I found the third episode to be absolutely dull, like the S3 premiere, but this week's episode was the best of the season to me. It felt a bit more like old school SH through most of it. It was faster paced, the monster was creepy, the atmosphere was suitably creepier, and the personal character touches, especially with Abbie and Jenny were woven really well throughout it.
This might be unpopular, but I think the lackluster season premiere didn't do the show any favors. I think it had a better chance to maintain its audience if it had opened with an energetic bang and a major hook for the season (and less awkward "reset" stuff, TBH) , but it opened more with a whimper to me (Pandora wasn't batcrap crazy enough and she threatened to put me to sleep). But it opened with very little room to fall anymore (Premiere @ 1.0), which is also the bad thing. __________________

The crossover brought the show up, which I'm sure Fox was hoping for, but the key will be in maintaining it.
It was a fun event, but will it help the show hold the audience? __________________

Even though I haven't been much of a fan of this season and feel the show has changed too much, I still don't want to see it cancelled. I'd like for them to get a season 4, and hope they'll find their footing again.
