Going a bit more in-depth than I did in my last post, I really liked the show's cast and its mythology; drawing on the Book of Revelation and mixing it with the Sleepy Hollow legend was a really neat way to approach things, as was the decision to not actually have the actual Legend of Sleepy Hollow story exist within the show's universe.

Wow! I'm impressed. I never expected such a well thought out mythology. It was fantastic, they way they weaved everything together. The characters are very likable. Loved the chemistry between Icabod and Abbie. The cast is great!
....I really hope Fox gives this a chance. __________________

I really liked it too, it was entertaining and kept you wondering.
I love all the characters too and chemistry between them. The humor mixed with darkness is really cool. I love the whole dark/fall/halloween sort of vibe. |

I found both main characters sympathetic, so I guess it will all be good!

Watch the episode at Fox online. Watch it On Demand, if you have it. (I've got it playing in the background right now...mmmmm, high-def Tom!) Watch it ANY WAY YOU CAN, as many times as you can. Numbers count, hits count, and Fox is notorious for canceling shows way too soon (RIP, Firefly. ) __________________

Very good episode. I hadn't even heard or seen any promotions for it (probably since I don't really watch Fox) but it was on after Bones, so I left the tv on and I don't regret it at all.

I liked the pilot and will definitely be watching next week. The characters with the past/present settings are just great.

Finally Australia gets something on time. I thought the pilot was brilliant. Well written and pretty to look at.

I decided to take a look at the current state of affairs at the FOX Network, and I honestly think that this show has a very good chance of remaining on the air even if its ratings don't surpass expectations simply because FOX needs to be able to demonstrate that it can still produce good TV and compete with not only the other major broadcast networks but the big cable networks as well.

I hope you're right. The demos(3.4) surpassed what FOX has been able to get in that spot for a long time, I read. So, that's good, hope it keeps up against the CBS comedies.

I loved the pilot, it was better then I thought it would be, Ichabod and Abbie have great chemistry and he is easy on the eyes too it has a mix of comedy, drama and scifi. Too funny when he told Abbie she must be emancipated from slavery, she was like mkay... and when he was playing with the car window and locks, baffled by Abbie wearing pants, trousers as he called it and confused by the flash light pointing it in his face there is so many things for Ichabod to get use to like Starbucks on every block but the Headless Horseman is no joke, still a bit confused by the asian cop part in helping him find his head? and like the cops I also wonder how does he hear and see with no head? I did not quite follow the legend
