I am so happy! I waited a long while for this show, and some waited longer than me! I can't wait to have a discussion on how the episode is.

I really did love the episode, from start to ending.

I don't know the cop name, but the guy who Abbie was sharing scenes with in the beginning. I was really liking him, and assumed he would be dying early... and I was right. lol It's really too bad.

Poor Ichabod, he cuts off a houseman head, dies and comes back to life two centuries later. It was sad when he was in the street, not understand the trucks, cars and even the street. Then not only that, his wife Katrina is dead.... or now we will say trapped somewhere , so he have to try to save her. What a tough day for him.

Abbie is an interesting character, I love the background we saw with her already! I feel sad for her, she just lost her partner and about her past with her sister...
She understands what Ichabod is going through because of past experiences, even if she doesn't fully comprehend it yet.

The duo of Abbie/Ichabod, I loved it. It's going to be great to see them together every week. The chemistry and banter, I love the consuming [pull] with them, Abbie didn't want to believe Ichabod but in the back of her mind, she believed every word he was saying to her.
I love Ichabod knowing this his and Abbie fates are intertwined, so he doesn't won't her to leave Sleepy Hollow.

I'm surprised if the writers doesn't expect most to ship them.

I gotta give it to the Headless Houseman, for some reason, I really did enjoy him. He just go around with his horse, cutting off people heads, heads definitely did roll as the promo, promoted.

Captain Frank Irving, I understand his reasoning for thinking Ichabold was kind of mental, I mean he didn't see anything Abbie saw. So his actions now are understandable.

The Mulder/Scully similarities to me would be that Ichabod is the ones who believes and Scully is the one who wants to believe but doesn't. lol
They don't remind me of them of course, but just in that sense... oh and the chemistry.

Also one last thought, John Cho character Andy Dunn gave me many feels today. The first time I saw him, I was like! WOAH!

should be a likable character, second thought:... OH MY GOD! BE CAREFUL!! third thought: really? what the heck, like really? and the finale thought of the day was. HOLLY S.......

Great episode. I'll be back next week, no doubt.

I hope FOX gives it a chance and doesn't cancel it.

FOX can't cancel it if the ratings are good! So that's what I'm hoping for. The ratings are great and the show continue to grow... shows really depends on ratings, so I hope for those who love the show will continue to watch. It's just the way television works nowadays.

Great start with the pilot!

I enjoyed it immensely. All the characters play off each other well. The mythology is interesting.

I know those four white trees are just trees, but they were creepy as heck.

Especially when Abbie was recalling her and her sister encountering them in the woods.

So is Katrina still alive somewhere? Or is that her spirit that's trapped and trying to communicate with Ichabod?

Also the priest was from the past like Ichabod. I wonder who else is from the 18th century , tied to the things that's happening, while hiding in plain sight?

THAT WAS AWESOME.

Orci and Kurtzman have channeled their inner Tim Burton and mashed together his takes on Dark Shadows and Sleepy Hollow to create what is seriously the coolest thing I've seen on TV since the premiere of Once Upon a Time.

If this show gets even half the support from FOX that Once has from ABC, it has the potential to be on the air for a long time.

That was REALLY awesome I mean it felt like a movie but then you think...it's going to last all year long! I'm soooooo excited and can't wait until the next episode.

I'm not too sure whether I like this show or not. I mean, the premiere wasn't bad...I just, I don't know. I'll need to see next week's episode to really decide if I want to stick with it.
