They sound like great seats! Have you checked out the 3D view on the web where you're able to see the stage from your seat? It is so realistic! Because the theater does not have an elevator, all of my seats are on the main floor. Fri. I'll be in the back of the middle section (price was in the middle range), on Sat. for both shows I'll be on the far left halfway back (cheap seats), and for Sun. I'll be in the orchestra section about 8 rows back (for his last show I decided to get the best I could - for a wheelchair).

According to the information I've read they are strict about recording devices of any kind. However, I don't know if that means before and after the show. I've seen several photos of people standing in front of a large picture of Hedwig's eyes so maybe they have designated areas for taking pictures. They'll be selling program books which I assume will contain a lot of pictures, hopefully of Darren. Even though they are strict, I'm sure someone will sneak pictures and post them on the Internet, just like someone recorded and posted Neil's entire show. I've got my fingers crossed someone will do that for Darren's (like H2$).

You're sitting in a wheelchair??

I thought about trying to take pics after the show, you know, while the applause is going on. I can understand they don't want people to take pics during the show, but after it's done?!

Yeah, unfortunately my knees have gotten worse. At his tour performance I used a walker and now I use a wheelchair for longer excursions. I can walk a few steps with a walker, and I do around my apartment, but I use the wheelchair to go further. Fortunately, NYC has a para transit system so I can go anywhere within the five boroughs for only $2.75 - a great bargain.

About the pictures - I say go for it unless they make a big stink about it. Gosh darn, you're coming from so far away it'd be a shame not to take some pictures!

Steffi sounds like you have amazing seats I would give anything to be able to see Darren on Broadway but its just not possible this year

Shelley, sorry to hear that your knees are getting worse I hope you will still be able to get a good view from where you will be sitting Shelley

It's not easy to handle life in a wheelchair.

Really it's not that bad. I can walk a few steps and my legs work fine, as does the rest of me, but right now the pain comes from bone on bone. The good news is I may have an operation next fall and then, goodbye wheelchair.

Because of the wheelchair I'll have to do some things slightly different in NY but because of their para transit system it'll be like having a private driver each time I need to go somewhere. Since I've seen many of the sites up close before, I'm planning on taking a day driving trip through the five boroughs. I'll be staying at Hotel Mela, which is across the street from the Belasco Theater, and that'll be very convenient.

Since I'm not going until July, I have plenty of room to take care of the arrangements.

Thanks for all those kind thoughts.

Using a chair has been an interesting challenge but it has given me insight into what it may be like for people who have to use them 24/7. It's one thing to look at someone different than yourself and form an opinion, positive or negative, and it's another thing to become like that person. That's why I'm not upset using a chair. It's taken away some forms of independence but it's opened my eyes in new directions.

Gosh, I sound like a Glee story. Maybe I've watched too much of that show!
