It was way too sudden in the movie. It happened in book 3. She found the gear in Luke's sister's house. Yeah she was doubting if she really wanted this or not.

I think it will be more around episode 6 (half way through) that she'll get put into her gear. They may not follow the book 100% and will probably flesh it out to get more episodes, so they'll probably have side missions for her training.

Oh that's right! And then she also got her mother's stele and so on.

I'd get it they wanted her to put on training stuff when they educate her in the seasons, but she's not really a shadowhunter until way later so yeah.

Even if they put her in the gear in episode 6, I still think it's too early. They should wait to later seasons to put her in it.

I agree. If they train it's okay but getting her in all that gear and being a Shadowhunter, she is not ready yet.

Training would be fine for safety reasons, but shadowhunters train their entire childhood for this. She's not a miracle worker, she can't be ready after just a couple of weeks.

I do understand what you mean. Id like to see them take there time and develop that too. I like seeing characters grow and don't develop too fast

No she can't be so she needs a lot of training before she is fully a Shadowhunter.

So I finally saw Kat on the screen.. but her part in the Scorch trials was really very tiny.. but at least she had to say something
