Me during the MSF: Why are they still using Beth to promote twd after she is dead?
me in the present when I see the new posters : Really a zombie that looks and dresses like Beth? I see the manipulation never seems to stop. __________________

I'd honestly be shocked if Beth showed up in any way in season 6.

I would be too but out of her being alive and flashback I could see flashback. And hey maybe now they will actually show us her reason for grabbing polly pocket scissors and stabbing Dawn in a vest covered shoulder.

I don't know. It'd be nice but that doesn't relate to any of the other characters currently still around so I can't really see it happening. Other than that I'm not sure what they would flashback to.

If indeed there are flashbacks that involve Beth's story, why didn't that story just play out chronologically last season? Is this supposedly artsy & creative... and idk maybe I'm still hurt & bitter, but to have flashbacks that result in her still being dead is even more annoying to me than leaving it off at Coda. I don't want to be thrown a bone after I've been gutted... I wish I could block that show out of my life but Emily is always attached to it, aaargh

Those are my feelings exactly, Anna. I don't think she's coming back but I could see them doing something like that to be "artsy" . I saw something recently about how gimple mentioned that coda was the start of them trying to be more creative with the way they shoot episodes. Really that's the time you want to start experimenting? That's so disrespectful to both Beth and Emily. And truthfully, I completely understand why she doesn't/can't, but I wish Emily would distance herself from the show if only for my own sanity.

It doesn't look like my sarcasm came through very well. Oops.
I don't know either and honestly I just can't even speculate. If she shows up alive I'll watch for Beth. If it's a flashback I will probably watch the clip of it. But until I see it happen it doesn't really affect me. At least as far as now goes. |

Nah, it was good Heather, especially at polly pocket
That's a good way of looking at it. kayrey, I also agree with all that. Yea, and there's a point at which waiting too long for a plot to play out makes it not worth the wait. It's just bad writing. I'm long past that point. |

Ever since someone used that it is how I see those scissors.
What the **** at them using that episode to do that on. Of course though. I guess they also used that episode as a way to show how bullets can change course and how they don't have to make any sort of sense. |

Oops my bad.
I guess I'm pretty much in the same boat Heather. Until it happens I'm good. And I still can't believe that episode wasn't just some really bad joke. Anna, I've been past that point for a while now. __________________
