Yeah definitely. Gale always chose the option to be at war and do things that were similar to what Katniss was against. Peeta was like her, and always tried the peaceful option unless he was forced and had no other choice.

Yeah, but even with that, he had a complete disregard for others and others' own sibling and children who might not make it if they go the violent route.

i'm not a Gale hater, i actually like him at various points in the films, but i just feel that he followed the wrong path in seeking vengeance for D12. as a good guy, you have rules to follow in war, otherwise how are you any different from the murderous animals on the other side?! killing those who come to help the wounded you just blew up, is not acceptable in civilized society. you don't lower yourself to the Capitol's barbarity, you make them pay in the war crimes court.

Yeah exactly. If he were against what the Capitol was doing, he wouldn't be planning the same kind of actions to be done on others, even if they were on the wrong side.

the Gale character is the type of typical person in private army outfits like the former Blackwater merc outfit here in the USA. cold callous mercenaries who operate outside of rules and conventions. we occasionally kick out those types from our all-volunteer service, from time to time. orange-faced trump pardoned one of our special forces people after he executed a prisoner, and the service tried to discharge him for violating the uniform code of military justice. trump overturned it, unfortunately, probably wanted the dude's vote, smh.

That's definitely not someone you should pardon. And yeah Gale was the type who'd do anything if it was a means to an end. I liked how Peeta was the type to never do anything that would jeopardize what he believed in, no matter how much it would help, unless it was really the last possible option.
