I don't know if I can come up with ten but I'll try

Dawson's Creek S3 finale: Pacey and Joey leaving town together on a boat for the summer. So romantic and a nice payoff to all the bs Pacey had to go through with Dawson's douchey behavior and Joey's stand off ness after their relationship was exposed.

Scandal S3 finale: Jake and Liv leaving town together. Wow, another similarity to Pacey/Joey. Both couples have similarities to me that I've been noticing for a while.

Buffy S2: Sad ending for Buffy since she killed Angel, got expelled from school, her mom kicked her out, Buffy leaving town, etc. When it came on recently on ABC Family it reminded me how heartbreaking it all was. That's not something a 17 year old should have to go through.

Buffy S5: Buffy dying, just *cries*

Buffy S7: It's the final episode but it went out with a hell of a bang. Nice when a show can go out at it's peak instead of just beating a dead horse.

Dark Angel S2: Another series finale (cause Fox cancelled all the great shows smh) but the episode is so freaking good, I think James Cameron directed it himself, it was 90's minutes, it was so EXPLOSIVE. Just pisses me off they cancelled the show and that episode left so many things left hanging and unanswered

Daria S4: After everything with Tom and Daria happened your left wondering, "What now?"

Power Rangers in Space S6: Zordon's death, final battle, all the evil being defeated, Zedd, Rita, and Devatox turning good, etc.

Charmed S3: Bittersweet episode since it's the last with Prue but the witches being exposed, Piper getting shot and dying, etc.

Tru Calling S1: Tru saving Harrison but her boyfriend dying instead, the lines really drawn between Tru and Jack, it being revealed her father was helping Jack, etc. Another Fox show cancelled too soon

^Great list! These episodes are all clearly very dear to you. I can just feel your emotion from what you've written.

The Buffy season 2 finale was absolutely heartbreaking. The two-part was amazing!

I feel the same way as you did about the Charmed season final as well.

5) Beverly Hills Season 3 -> such wonderful group moments

6) Friends Season 7 -> Monica and Chandler get married and a pregancy test is positive

7) Beverly Hills 90210 Season 10 the finale episode -> they were all so happy and even if I don`t ship Donna and David I was okay with the happy end for them. The best happy end was for Kelly and Dylan. So awesome!

8) Buffy Season 5 -> Buffy dies

9) Bones Season 6 -> Brennan is pregnant from Booth

10) The Big Bang Theory Season 8 -> Sheldon wanted to propose to Amy and Penny and Leonard wanted to go to Las Vegas to get married or not. Esp. the Shamy part just blew me away.

Until reading your list I had forgot how great friends finales were.

My list in no order

Castle Season 3 - The whole sequence of Beckett being shot. It was so well written. Castle having to drag Beckett out of the hanger. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

The Office Season 2 - Casino night. Funny. Brilliant. Jim and Pam. Nothing else needs to be said

Grey's Anatomy Season 2- Wonderfully written and heartbreaking. Izzie having to let Denny go. So many highs and lows.

Lost Season 3 - Wait they got off the island! How, what, when. It blew me away.

Gilmore Girls Season 4 - Luke and Lorelai. Funny and just a great episode.

The Good Wife Season 2 - Such a great finale with so many questions. I wanted season 3 to start the very next day

ER Season 12 - Dramatic Gun shooting in the hospital.

Friends Season 10 - The picture frame ending was perfect.

Castle Season 4

Greys anatomy Season 5 - I had no idea it was George and that final scene between George and Izzie for me was breath taking. Beautifully done.

Thanks for bumping it up

Yes, always has been a popular topic. This is the place to talk about your all-time Season Finales.
I'm loving the lists on this thread. Some real strong and emotional finales that you guys have chosen

1. Veronica Mars s1 and s2 finale - Seasons 1 and 2 of this show it's so addictive! Love the season finale

2. Gilmore Girls season 2 - My Jess and Rory heart wont ever forget! I absolutely love this scene not just because of Jess and Rory but the whole episode was light and happy- something that gilmore girls is always best at.

3. Raising Hope season 2 - It think this show is a bit obscured BUT please watch it its funny and season 2 finale is soooo good well at least for me

3. Friends S7 - well damn! When you thought Friends couldn't be any better, they'll be dropping this kind of finale. It's so good and i remember the feeling of wanting s8 immediately!

4. Jessica Jones s1 - Super good show and is consistent. Love the season finale. Excited for the second season (why do we have to wait so long for good Netflix Shows?)

5. Dawson's Creek s1 and s3 and s6 - For S1, not being a big dawson/joey fan but I do agree that it's the best season finale we can get for that season. It was so loving and romantic and it was just a happy moment. S3 and s6 - because I've never thought Joey will pick Pacey and she did

6. The O.C. season 1 - I think The O.C. first season is the season to beat when it comes to good Teen Drama writing. It was long but detailed. It was lovely. Love S1.

My top 15 in random order, since I love them all! Sorry, couldn't pick just 10, with Grey's already having 3 of the spots ^^)

- Grey's Anatomy S2 (Denny dying...Izzie dealing with it..still crying )
- Grey's Anatomy S6 (the shooting!)
- Grey's Anatomy S8 (they really left us hanging with that plane crash)
- The OC S1 (it's a shame they never reached the same quality again honestly - even tho I still enjoyed the following seasons).
- The Good Wife S3 (the tension around Kalinda mostly, it's a shame her husband ended up being a weak SL, the build up in this finale was awesome though)
- Gilmore Girls S3 (Rory's graduation speech....the emotions between Rory and Lorelai..)
- How to get away with Murder S1 (the show has awesome finales, but this was the best, the wait over the summer was horrible)
- Veronica Mars S1 (it concluded an amazing first season)
- Medium S3 (it changed the entire show)
- Revenge S3 (She's Amanda Clark, She's Amanda Clark; enough said )
- One Tree Hill S3 (back then I thought it was the final episode ever, which maddened me so much, lol, that cliffhanger...)
- Person of Interest S3 (the last five minutes in particular - such an underestimated show)
- Fringe S3 (oh, the mystery)
- Bones S6 (end of a strong season and Bones is pregnant!)
- Damages S1/S2 (have trouble choosing, another one of those underestimated shows)

Thanks so much for sharing! Oh my gosh-season 2 finale of Grey's is one of my absolute favorite season finales. I remember sitting there watching when it originally aired just balling from how emotional and heartbreaking it was.

Also the Addison/Derek/Meredith love triangle came to a peak in that episode. Soooo good!

I also loved The OC season 1 finale, but TBH I preferred the season 2 finale more. The cliffhanger ending season 2 was so dark.

I can do 4. Most episodes that I see as stand out aren't finales.

1. Grey's Anatomy - Sanctuary/ Death and All His Friends (and after it the show went to crap :sigh)
2. Charmed - Witch Way Now?
3. Doctor Who - The Parting of the Ways
4. Chicago Fire - My Miracle
