That's one way to look at it.

I'm sad that today is Thursday and I can't watch a new episode. I don't even need a 10 episode season. Just give me a farewell season. That's all I ask of you TNT. They already cancelled Leverage, though they had a perfect ending.

i know! i was thinking last night: what's on tv? SOUTHLAND! then it set in. i really do want a final season. even if we only get like six eps. idc. i can't imagine where they'd go though. i can't imagine john not being alive...

Same. I want him to be alive but even if he lives, it will be a sad life for him. He won't be a cop anymore, he will be broken, having lost the one thing that gave his life meaning. His arch was already sad and heartbreaking this season.

Shawn Hatosy mentioned on twitter that if the show got cancelled they should start a kickstarter to make a movie.
