Yes! Rigsby, finally!
I couldn't believe that she was handing out invitations at work. They could have easily had them sent to Cho and Rigsby and then had Rigsby whisper to Cho if he was going to the wedding or not. We didn't need to see her handing them out. This episode was good too. I'm glad to see the show going back to it's roots. I can't wait for the last two episodes. |

I really hate what they've done to Van Pelt with this whole moronic wedding storyline. They've made her selfish, immature and naive. Major thumbs down. Mercifully, it will all be over on Thursday. |

I'm scared about Thursday.
Patrick coming face to face with RJ? This isn't going to end well. Something bad is going to happen, I can feel it. |

It looks like a guy to me. But I haven't really paused it to see.
I think anyone but Patrick could be killed at this point. |

I am a few episodes behind, but I watched the 2 part finale tonight anyway and BOOM! The casting for Red John was BRILLIANT. I won't say who it was yet. But I never pictured this person playing him, but it WORKED!
Awesome episodes! I think everyone will enjoy! Can't wait to go back and watch the three I missed. __________________

The Mentalist people were right about the fans screaming about the finale. I'm glad that Jane got Red John, but what are they going to do now? Jane killed a man (a evil serial killer sure, but a man) in a public place at point blank. Sure lets say he gets off without having to go to jail. But can they use him to catch bad guys now because he is a known killer? Or will any of his earlier cases be overturn because he himself is a criminal?
Seriously what are they going to do now? I do think it's a little cliche that it was Grace's fiancee that was Red John's helper. But I understand their thinking and why they did it. I loved that they had Bradley Whitford play Red John. I wonder was that him last time they met? Or did they use another actor then and Bradley alter his voice to fit the role? I was driving my mom crazy because I would figure out the twists and turns before they were revealed and I would scream at the tv for the characters to listen to me. She told me I should sign up for the police and be a homicide detective. I just loved the finale and can't wait to see what they have in the fall. __________________

First off this two part finale had me on the edge of my seat the whole night. (And I was sitting on the floor. )
Secondly, the acting was phenomenal. There were great twists and turns and I loved how they got the team involved and how the writers eventually looped the bombing into it all being plotted by Red John. With that said. I do not believe that either A.) that who Jane was talking to was Red John. (even though the writers said he'd come face to face with him, maybe they twisted it around and he did come face to face with RJ, but we don't know it.) or B.) the last part was not real. I think after "RJ" told Jane about his daughter and wife and what they smelled like, the rest of it was a dream/not reality. Bruno has said over and over again, that the Red John case would not be solved until the final season of the show. This is not the final season, so therefore there's something going on here that we don't know. I can't wait to see what happens at the beginning of the next season. Especially if what he did was reality. |

The one thing that may get him off is that Red John had a gun on him also. Jane could claim self defense. Jane would still be charged with carrying a concealed weapon, but he won't be charged with murder.

I could see it playing out like that.
Obviously, Patrick has to get out of this because he has to go back solving crimes! __________________
