They have added two more episodes to the series order for this season. Damon apparently agreed to stay. Now it will be 15 episodes. It's not clear if FOX wanted to bring it back, would he come back... They have made concessions that he has agreed to at this point.

It's a very complicated situation. I tend to think Clayton got blamed more than he should but then he was NOT a saint. There is video and audio evidence that he went beserk, and he had his defenders. There were others apparently who had a lot of issues with what his prior conduct and what happened and the blow up that got him kicked off the show might have been a final straw because it wasn't the first incident.

And yet Damon apparently was causing issues. But FOX felt he was the priority since the show was pitched with him as lead in the first place.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens now...

I like the new version. Yes Cole isn't Riggs. But he brings a interesting character to the show. So I am curious if they branch out and lose the whole Murtaugh and Riggs brand and keep the name of the show, but have Cole partner with someone else...

Maybe a female; like Bailey. Or someone else.

They have a family they could focus on in Cole's daughter and ex. So it will be interesting how important Damon is to the show.

At this point I could watch it without him. But the question could the show make that decision. Depending on what happened to Murtaugh, it cuts out the whole family angle of Murtaugh. But then they have Cole's family.

I think it was an issue where they were both as bad as each other and the network decided to keep the guy with the bigger name and pretend the other guy was the sole problem.

I think there was probably more going on behind the scenes and they made Clayton the scapegoat, it's a real shame because IMO he was the better actor and Riggs was a far more interesting character than Roger.

Another really good episode this week, we got more backstory on Wesley's character, I'm really loving Wesley lately, he's such an interesting character. I know some people are refusing or apprehensive to watch season 3 because they killed off Riggs, but I highly recommend that people still continue to watch, because Wesley is a really good character, he's very interesting and he deserves a chance.

Which is a shame because I'm loving it.

It wasn't confirmed he was leaving. He made a statement. And then he agreed to stay longer. He seems to say whatever he's feeling at the moment. Maybe LW has adjusted the schedule to be more forgiving of his physical limitations.

I haven't even seen any of the most recent season yet, tbh. I'm waiting to see if it gets renewed to see if it's worth catching up.
