OMG that ending stressed me out. I feel bad for the Taliban who died of suicide and I also felt bad for those innocent people he killed to be able to do his "mission". Jalal really thinks highly of himself huh?

So the 2 presidents didn't die because of the Taliban. They died because of an accident. Which is really heartbreaking because that could've been avoided?

So we're probably going to get a war c/o the Taliban but the Russians are lying. They have the black box and Saul knows it. They didn't confirm they have it but Saul knows because that man he talked to was shady on the phone. Are they also gearing up for a war with Russia?

I love both scenes of Carrie & Saul not giving up on each other and trusting each other. In spite of everything that happens, they're loyal to each other no matter what.

it really figures Russia wants the downfall of the US. we think they're sorta allies but if they go down there's a chance for them to take their place so of course they'd love to see that happen

Yeah, that's my vibe since it seems that they are using her to get what they want as long she can turn her back on US, but now she decided to turn herself in..

^ That's true. Good thing she did turn herself in. And there was one point I thought Carrie is siding with the Russians but she's not. And I like that the show is making her look like she is but in reality she won't ever do that.
