Honestly, even if Dan/Savannah had never happened, I don't think I would have like Dan/Marti. Something about them just didn't appeal to me besides their friendship. I don't think they had that much chemistry and they were way too forced, but that's just me. Don't want to offend anyone, so I'll leave now!

see, normally i dont liek bffs to lovers storylines but i liked matt and alys chemistry, so i was totally on board.

savannah was too obnoxious for me to really get behind her relationship with dan. like, i felt like she was fake nice. and trying so hard to be something shes not.

I didn't feel that way at all. She stayed true to herself and didn't compromise her beliefs or morals. Sure, she did a few things that she normally wouldn't have done, but I didn't think she became any different. I saw more chemistry between Matt & Ashley, than Matt & Aly. I think we might just have to agree to disagree.

I miss seeing them all on my TV every week! It was one of my favorite shows. At least we still have S1 to rewatch as many times as we want and we can still chat about it here

This show... It will always be my absolute favorite, which is just crazy to think about. When I first watched the pilot, I never thought I would fall as in love with it as I did... And I attribute alot of that love to Marti as a character and especially to Marti and Dan, as a relationship and definitely as individuals.

What were some of your guys favorite moments?

Some amazing episodes, imo, were definitely the entirety of 1x08, 1x09 and 1x11, but one of my favorite little moments was the Marti and Dan scene from 1x19, on the couch. So much beautiful character development for my bb and the whole moment was just perfect.

Clearly my bias is showing but I just can't help it. I've never, ever loved a character like I loved Marti and Dan was seriously perfect and just.. everything about them I loved and that love really seeped into the whole show, for me.

One of my other favorite episodes was 1x15. I just loved everything about it... From Marti's talents shining through, to the way the Hellcats pulled together and especially the coda. The show was just sooooo well written.

pretty much any episode with marti/dan ast he focus was my favorite. the ones right in the middle. cuz yeah, they were my favorite part. LOL.

I couldn't agree more, Shu. This show really grabbed hold of my heart. I honestly hadn't ever loved a show - let alone so quickly - like I loved this one. I actually liken it to how you felt about LUX. It was incredibly heartbreaking.

You're not gonna like what my favorite moments are! But pretty much any moment between Dan/Savannah, esp. the scene after the auction, when Dan lifts her up to put her in his truck! I also loved their first meeting!

Chelsea, I didn't love the show as much as you did! I honestly only watched it because of Ashley, but I did enjoy it & think it had a lot of potential & should have lasted longer.

Aww, I actually thought that moment between Dan and Savannah was cute. They had alot of cute scenes. I just felt like Marti was his meant-to-be and I always felt the show wrote them beautifully. It was even apparent in the first episode, that his feelings for her were always just below the surface and that was always in the forefront of my mind so when they happened, they just consumed me.

I honestly don't think anyone really loved that show as much as me (although I could very well be wrong) just 'cause my love for it is strangely intense... A show about college cheerleaders? Really? That's how people always react when I tell them about it, but it just hooked me. I fell so in love with it. Everything from the tone to the amazing writing. I can't even explain it. And it definitely should have lasted longer. Even just a second season would've been perfect.
