Adapted from the classic novel by Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid's Tale is the story of life in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was formerly the United States.
Facing environmental disasters and a plunging birthrate, Gilead is ruled by a twisted fundamentalism in its militarized ‘return to traditional values'.
As one of the few remaining fertile women, Offred (Elisabeth Moss) is a Handmaid in the Commander’s household, one of the caste of women forced into sexual servitude as a last desperate attempt to repopulate the world.
In this terrifying society, Offred must navigate between Commanders, their cruel Wives, domestic Marthas, and her fellow Handmaids – where anyone could be a spy for Gilead – all with one goal: to survive and find the daughter that was taken from her.

I proper don't like how much she is sleeping around with so many people. Or is she just playing the husband?

I'm pretty sure she's only doing it so she can be safe with her unborn baby, and to find things out about her daughter. the Commander's got a weakness for June so he's probably gonna do that for her. I'm sure she wasn't afraid that sleeping with him would hurt the baby either but it was a good excuse for him to back off

They were amazing in that ep. And June kept pushing him away cause he's a married man now. And Nick was actually nice to his wife, complementing her food even. I would think he's be mean to her or completely ignore her but he wasn't doing any of that. Well maybe at first but at least he didn't totally ignore her at all even though I would have preferred that.

Dang, I forgot to include this on my post. I was so shocked when this happened. And yes that's the new Ofglen that was tortured and got her tongue ripped out. I think the Commander will survive but heavily injured perhaps although that was a huge explosion.

That handmaid is dead right? I'd rather she dies because if she lives, they'll kill her anyway.

WAHT? sleeping around? How so? The only person she's sleeping with intentionally is Nick. Thats who she loves.

She doesnt sleep with the commander by choice.... He forces her to. And shes only pretending to be interested in him to avoid the wrath from the family. She's obviously got a plan in place. And he just gave her the photo of Hannah, she isn't gonna be rude to him or she would lose it. She lied about sex hurting the baby to get out of it? And she was relieved when he left the room.

I am sure that Ofglen is dead. The commander might be in a comma for a while but I dont think he is dead.

I'd probably do what June is doing too. Desperate times call for desperate measures. And June will definitely be good to the Commander too after he gave her a picture of Hannah and June will use that to her advantage.

I actually feel really excited for the next episode after that ending. I'm scared because the handmaids will be punished for sure but at the same time, I'm ecstatic that a lot of the Commanders probably died and/or are injured.
