I am missing David so much. I know he was recently in Australia for the Heath Ledger foundation that helps up and coming young actors. Penance has been doing the rounds in the States but not come anywhere near Ottawa. I love that he does short, quality movies but wish he would be on more TV shows and big movies so I could see him more. Always wondered if he had a contract on NBC as he seems to work only on that station and they are none too good at giving new shows a fair shake.

He is so criminally underrated IMO. Glad he got a nom at the saturn award and won best actor for Penance. Hopefully some big people notice him and we see a lot more of him.

Was glad they had Bass come through for Miles and the gang in the end. Always knew he had a good heart underneath.

Yeah, me too. I'm not even excited about Comic Con anymore.
So ticked at the networks and now, even the movies suck.
And, not in a good vampire sort of way,

I already miss David, Billy, and all the whole cast already.

but for this, I just might try it. I might like it.
I tried to read a Twilight fan fic once and well, not a fan of it.
They twist it so much it's just plain weird. And or R rated.

Yeah, some of the ones we will read and/or re-read are definitely R or X-rated. I can let you know when we pick the weeks selection what the rating will be. The one we chose for this week, White Rabbit, does have very mature moments. I wish I could tell you exactly where those moments are so you could skip them because the rest of the story is just fabulous. And it stems off from Dreamcatcher in a very interesting way. But, yeah, this has places that are X-rated if I remember correctly. Can you tell I need to re-read this one?

But there are some that follow the show quite closely and are rated T for teen, mostly because of swearing and some violence. I write fanfic and all the Revo ones I've posted so far are only rated T. And there are plenty more like that. Some are nothing more than a lost scene from the show, or a scene the writer would have liked to have included.

But we will definitely keep you posted and let you know ratings and synopsis of the fic. Feel free to join in whenever you want and if it's not your cup of tea, no worries. But you are always welcome to pick and choose if there are some weeks you want to read and some not.

At least we're getting some more posters for the forum!

They were just so sweet in the books and movies-sexy, too, yes,
but idk, just felt weird to read that kinda stuff.
But this is different, so I'll give it a shot!

And yeah, Charlie and Monroe are very different kinds of characters than Edward and Bella. Both have been around the block more, so to speak. And their world is harsher than the world the Cullens live in. I'm not picking on Twilight at all. I was a fan of the movies. But their world seemed kind of a beautiful little place. Bella were having sex, it was still sweet somehow-even after she
became a vampire and he ripped off her dress, it was slo-mo and
I'm still thinking how sweet!
