They did sort of spend time developing Dig with Andy and Felicity with Curtis. I could handled one less scene with each and had a Felicity and Dig one instead.

Yeah I love Curtis but I could've done with less of him and Felicity and more Delicity (and since Andy became evil, they definitely could've traded in some D/A scenes for some Delicity). I hope they don't make that mistake in season 5 too. Curtis is great but he shouldn't replace her relationships with other people like Diggle and Thea. Those people are her family, she's still getting to know Curtis. She needs time with people who she's already close with too. And Diggle and Thea could really use some Felicity time too, lol. Honestly though, it should not be that hard to show multiple relationships amongst these people who matter a whole awful lot to each other.

It really shouldn't be that hard to do. A smidge less C/F and D/A and there would've been more time for Delicity. I was glad LL isn't going to be around to be forced into places she shouldnt be that was going to add a little more time for other relationships but now I'm slightly worried about to season and relationships because they have literally added 5 new vigilantes to TA including Curtis. That's way way way too many new people. I don't care about new people. I want time spent on our core characters who we already love. Time spent on relationships like Delicity, Thea/Felicity, even Diggle/Thea. More Lyla when they can get her with Diggle and Felicity and Thea and Oliver, SmoakNLance and Donna in general when they can get CR, and Lance/Felicity. I'm so not interested in all these new people. So hoping they'll go away fast.

It's not easy to handle so many relationships and characters. This happens with almost every tv show, books, films, etc. Only a few can create a well balanced plot between several characters. But at least they could do a season on and off. S4 didn't have a lot of Delicity, why can't S5 change that?

Sometimes it's like they dont even try to do multiple relationships at a time. Which is possible. They can do better than they have been doing. They need to prioritize the most important relationships instead of stuff no one cares about and Delicity is one of the important relationships. I hope we get more Delicity this season than last but that means the writers have to be smart not stupid, lol. And who knows with them sometimes.

Yeah that too. They can definitely cut some do their action stuff shorter. Some fo the fight scenes really don't need to be as long as they've been. Punching is punching. Character moments are more important. And I'm sorry but not enough action will never be a real thing/problem on this show. Less action, more relationships. That's why less people on the team is better, because you don't have rso many people that have to be featured in a fight so you are wasting less time on action. Trying to do a soccer team of superheroes just hurts this show, not to mention is so unecessary.

I guess action/comic book stuff is actually very important. Of course everything that's involved with Oliver, although there are other characters not too related to him that are actually very interesting. The problem is when they don't manage well those storylines. For example, S3 had a lot of LoA, and at least for me, only for me, it was boring in most of the time. S4 had... well, much focus on Damien's wife, or focus on the guy who dated Thea. Imagine, just change one, two, or even three of those scenes, and Delicity's interaction in S4 would be so different. I actually think that action scenes are big opportunities for Felicity to talk with Diggle. After all is a more like a tv show from a hero and not a drama tv show, so... action scenes will always be there.

Didn't say get rid of the action entirely. Obviously there has to be action. But they overdo sometimes. Punching is punching, kicking is kicking. We don't need such prolonged scene of that kind of stuff. And we need less people in the field not more because that just prolongs them too. They can definitely afford to cut down on the action a little and use their action scenes better. Also yeah Alex was a total waste. Definitely should've gotten rid of him altogether and give us more Delicity and Thea/Felicity. He served no purpose. They need to focus less on pointless new characters no one cares about and cut down the action a little to be more balanced. They just really need more focus on the important relationships.

When they have everyone out in the field, they need to be off doing different things. Don't need everyone fighting for goons while Felicity's on the computer stuff.

Yeah, Alex wasn't too important. I think he served a purpose and he was just a new romance for Thea. But if I'm not wrong, he wasn't in the comics, and if he was, I'm sure he wouldn't be important as other characters are.

I don't think more people made the action more interesting. There were too many to make look good and give their moment and Oliver always got sidelined because of it. He used to take down entire casinos of bad guys but with so many people out in the field they made him look less skilled than he is. They either need the team split up in different locations for action scenes or just less people in action scenes. Oliver plus two is basically all the need. Any more and it's just too crowded. Less is more here. And they can definitely stand to shave down time on stuff like punching, kicking, riding on motorcycle. The point of the action is gotten across really fast, they don't have to dwell on it. There's just not enough time and the character and relationship moments just matter more.
